This afternoon I had the pleasure of attending the MAKE UP FOR EVER Summer Beauty event in NorthPark Center, hosted by A Piece of Toast. I had walked past the MAKE UP FOR EVER store (located on level one next to Nordstrom) but had never actually been inside. After reading about their products and coming across this event on A Piece of Toast, I decided this was the perfect time to give it a try. My daily struggle is dark circles, no amount of sleep or coffee will get rid of them and I was desperate for a good concealer. When I had my make up done, I instantly fell in love with the concealer they used. Not only did it cover up my dark circles, it brightened my eyes! On Monday, I posted inspiration for decorating Easter eggs. I gave decorating a try myself, straying away from the traditional PAAS dying kit. First I learned how to blow the yolk out of the egg so they will not go bad in a couple of days. While it was a hassle to blow out each egg, I can keep these for years, or until I break them. I used tissue paper and Mod Podge to cover the holes were the yolk came out, then decorated them with acrylic paint and Sharpies. It was much easier than it looks with the slight trouble of the spherical shape. Instagram or Tweet your own take to Easter eggs using #apearlkindofgirl! xoxo
