Save the Dates

Save the Dates - A Pearl Kind of Girl Save the Dates - A Pearl Kind of Girl

We are slowly checking things off the wedding to do list, and finally ordered our save the dates! Now we just have to finalize the guest list (the hardest part of the whole wedding planning process) and get these in the mail. Of course I had a difficult time picking a layout for our save the dates, and I went through many designs on just about every site. I loved the designs offered on Paperless Post, but I was not wild about sending an e-vite. I ended up going through the hundreds of save the dates Minted had to offer until I had narrowed my options down to about four designs. Alex and I eventually agreed on this design because of the simplicity, and the variety of images we could feature (for our family/friends who are not tech-savvy to see more images). Minted even offered free envelope addressing that matched the design of our card. Since we are still making changes to the guest list, I will have to hand-write a few addresses, but the pre-addressed envelopes saved me so much time. Checkout some of my favorite designs at Minted.com! xoxo

Through the Lens x Minted

edited-3282

In April, I posted about the perfect Mother’s Day gift I found at Minted. When I moved back to Dallas and needed to fill my bare walls, the first place I looked was Minted. Minted hosted a challenge called “Through the Lens” and with over 5,000 submissions, they were able to select 459 new photography pieces. All of the new photography pieces represent 248 artists in the independent artist marketplace. While I did attend the University of Oklahoma (Boomer!), my Texas roots are deep and I fell in love with this longhorn print called “Satredown” by Amy Carroll. The 24″ by 18″ print is perfectly framed in black and is a great start to my decorating process. Check out all the photographs selected from the “Through the Lens” challenge at Minted.com. xoxo

Mother’s Day x Minted

editededited-2edited-3edited-4

Mother’s day is just around the corner and I always have the hardest time finding gifts for my parents. Occasionally I will think of something my mom needs, then she will go buy it herself in a split second. However I can always count on my mom needing stationery. She writes more hand written notes than anyone I know and she loves personalized stationery. I found a wide range of stationery options at Minted and they were so easy to personalize. I chose the Crisp Color Stationery with the scalloped edge and was able to choose my own fonts and color (red, my mom’s favorite).

While browsing the endless stationery options on Minted, I kept running across their custom print collection. They offer framed prints created by numerous independent contributing artists ranging in medium and subject. While I loved all the artwork created by each contributor, my mom loves pictures, especially of our family. My brother and I recently took a picture with our mom at Easter, and I knew she would love a print for her office. Minted has a collection of foil printed designs to accompany the image or images of your choice. I chose the Gold Foil XO Print with a black frame out of their numerous framing options.

If you are looking for the perfect personalized gift for mom or someone special this spring, be sure to check out everything Minted.com has to offer. They also have great gifts for the upcoming graduation and wedding season. I have teamed up with Minted to give all my readers 10% off your next purchase using code: PEARL10 before May 7th. xoxo
