Black Shirt Dress

It might be because it is in black and white, but @sirwinstonphillips loves watching I Love Lucy. Every day at lunch we watch reruns together and he is glued to the screen. It is hysterical! After seeing this black shirt dress, Alex decided I had watched one too many reruns and am starting to dress like Lucy. This dress would be adorable with a strand of pearls and kitten heels, but I tried not to look like I was from the late 50’s.

To make this look a little more modern, I paired this black shirt dress with strappy heels (similar), large Karen Walker sunnies and my favorite Staud bag. The dress fits true to size (wearing a 0) and also comes in hot pink and mustard. If you’re not a bow person, the belt is removable and can be worn without or with another belt. This dress is perfect for Dallas summers where you might be in 100 degree heat one minute and blasting A/C the next. It is 100% cotton and I love the length of the sleeves and hem.
